Na próxima terça-feira dia 24 de Abril, vai acontecer aqui em São Paulo o Rakuten Super Expo, um evento da Rakuten que vai reunir os papas do ecommerce no Brasil para celebrar a entrada da Rakuten no Brasil.

O evento é aberto ao público e você pode se inscrever para participar aqui. 

Para quem ainda não sabe, a Rakuten é a Amazon do Oriente. Amazon e Rakuten são as maiores empresas de ecommerce do planeta. O Rakuten Shopping Online tem mais de 75 mil lojas no mundo inteiro, e milhões de produtos cadastrados e clientes atendidos.

A Rakuten desembarcou no Brasil alguns meses atrás, a Amazon está chegando em junho/julho. 

Um dos caras que virá para o Rakuten Super Expo é o Hiroshi Mikitani, CEO e Fundador da Rakuten.

Eu fui escolhido pela Rakuten para entrevistar o Mikitani no palco. Ao invés do tradicional esquema de “palestra”, o Mikitami vai falar na Super EXPO através das minhas perguntas.

1. Rakuten started in 1997. Only 15 years ago. Now you are here in Brazil ready to became one of the ecommerce leaders in the country. Did you imagine when you were a kid in Japan that you will ever achieve such accomplishment?

7. As Rakuten gets larger than life. A tendency for the “institution” to dampen the “inspiration” is very common. How do you keep this from happening?

8. By the way, How do you encourage creative thinking within your organization?

9. Here in Brazil we have a big problem with employee commitment. Some people here (not your Rakuten Brazil’s employees for sure) prefer to rest at home instead of working hard at the office. How do you encourage employees in your organization to became incredibly engaged?

10. Leadership is a hard task. Sometimes we can not make everybodys happy with our tough decisions. What do you do with people who disagree with you? Do you do like the old samurais, do you cut their heads off? 

11. What are the most important decisions you make as a leader of your organization?

12. Brazil and Japan are very different in culture and values. We like soccer, you like baseball; we like carnaval, you like Beatles; we like to kiss everybody, you like shake hands and heads. How you will adapt Rakuten Business Values and Culture to fit brazilian’s customers and even to attract and keep brazilian talent to work for Rakuten Brasil?
