Em 2012, Ben Affleck conseguiu surpreender muita gente com Argo, filme que levou alguns dos prêmios mais importantes do cinema no ano seguinte, como o Critic’s Choice Award, Globo de Ouro, Bafta e, claro, o Oscar nas categorias filme, roteiro adaptado e edição. O ator e diretor demonstrou que havia amadurecido, apesar de muita gente ainda estar ressabiada com sua escolha para ser o novo Batman.
A CIA também parece ter gostado do filme, como admitiu recentemente em seu perfil no Twitter. Ainda assim, a agência de inteligência norte-americana aproveitou os 35 anos da crise dos reféns ocorrida no Irã em 1979 para esclarecer o que é verdade (real) e o que é ficção (reel) no longa-metragem. É preciso lembrar, antes de mais nada, que as histórias no cinema precisam ter um pouco mais de drama e suspense para conseguir prender a atenção do público.
Na última sexta-feira, foram diversos tuítes sobre o assunto, com informações muito bacanas para quem curtiu o filme e ficou curioso para saber mais sobre o assunto. No final, a CIA concluiu, inclusive, que deixar Ben Affleck filmar por lá foi a “melhor péssima ideia” que eles já tiveram.
